Norton and Sons

Norton & Sons is a Savile Row tailor that was bought by Patrick Grant in 2005. Grant worked in technology and had no experience in retail or fashion, but he saw an ad in the Financial Times announcing that Norton & Sons was available. So he raised the capital via friends and family and bought the firm.

He immersed himself in every aspect of the business and set out to modernize the firm without completely abandoning its heritage. He commissioned Moving Brands to help with the rebranding. Part of that story was featured in a recent BBC documentary on Savile Row.
